  Our son, Wesley, had his first-ever surfing lesson with this school, and it was an incredible experience! In just two weeks, he went from never having stood on a board to actually surfing on his own — the instructors were patient, encouraging, and clearly know how to make the sport fun and accessible for beginners. A special thank you to Papito for creating such a safe and fun community for him to learn in - all the staff made all the difference in building our son’s confidence in the water. He loved it so much that he’s now asking for his own surfboard, and he already looking forward to coming back next summer. Thank you for giving him such a great introduction to surfing — an experience he’ll remember forever! Gracias por todo!

  My kids had an amazing experience at surf camp! The schedule was perfect—surfing every morning from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., with fun activities in the afternoons (Friday was 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.). Beyond surfing, they got to try skateboarding, jiu-jitsu, first aid training, and even went on a snorkeling adventure. They came home excited every single day, made so many new friends, and built so much confidence. The instructors—Caroline, María Solé, Lila, and the entire team—were incredibly kind, patient, and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely care about the kids and create such a fun, safe environment. This was an unforgettable week for our family, and we will absolutely be making this an annual tradition. Highly recommend!

  Review from a beginner who has never surfed before, and spent 1,5 months in Cabarete. I did 10 surf lessons and rented a board for 14 days. I had a great time and advanced to be able to catch green waves by myself. I always felt safe and they pushed me in a good way. I arrived as a client and left as a friend and part of the family at Dominican Surf School. The social atmosphere there is amazing, and I spent countless hours hanging out there with all the instructors and friends of the school. Can highly recommend!

  We have had such a great experience here Papitos surf camp. We are so proud of our son. He never wants to leave here he learned how to surf in just a couple days it's been amazing to watch the kids have a blast!
