  We had an amazing experience with Mahana Surf School, he guided us thoroughly, professionally and made us feel safe and comfortable in a new peak that was unfamiliar to us and we felt that we had improved in short time, Manua is a nice and kind person and always with good energy and patient. Highly recommend, we really enjoyed it :)

  I just had the most amazing two days of private surf lessons with Mahana Surf School, and I’m still smiling from ear to ear, as I couldn’t have wished for a better experience. My instructor Manua was truly fantastic, from the very first message, the communication was spot-on, and his attention to every little detail made all the difference. It was so easy to book lessons! He not only taught me so much in such a short time, but also shared so many helpful insights that made me feel confident and excited out on the waves. He even surprised me with delicious fresh fruits after our session! I only wish I could stay in Tahiti longer to keep learning… but I guess that just means I have to come back soon! If you’re looking to ride the waves, whether it’s your first time, a fun family day, or an adventurous solo session, Mahana Surf School gets my warmest, happiest recommendation. Go for it! You’ll love every second.

  My 2 boys (ages 10 and 11) and I had the best time out in the water with Manua! He has such a great, chill personality and we immediately felt at ease. It was our first time surfing and Manua was not only great to spend time with but he was knowledgeable and experienced. His positive and encouraging attitude was fantastic and he gave great tips after each caught wave about how to improve. We all got up on waves many times and had smiles on our faces throughout. I highly recommend this outing if you have a few hours to spare in Tahiti.

  We had a great 2 day surf lessons with manua! Two nearly 50 parents and their 15 year old son. We all caught waves and had a great experience! Water is super warm and comfortable. Class size was small (4 to 6). Definitely left tired! Manua was a great instructor and very friendly... Super chill!
