  I've been coming here for about 30 years. Great service, great people, great everything. Although we don't live in town anymore we are there visiting about 4 times a year and I'm happy to keep going here with my daughter daughter when we are in town visiting. She gets surf lessons, rents bikes and has multiple hoodies, t- shirts and stickers from here. I can't say enough about the owners and staff. Love it.

  If you want the best surf lessons in San Diego, go here! PB Surf Shop has the best surf lessons in Pacific Beach and is right on the boardwalk. It’s the original surf shop in PB. Don’t be fooled by the other companies that throw up a canopy on the sand and want you to get in and out of your wet suit in the sand! I took the private 3 day lessons and so glad I did. The instructor’s are friendly, informative and know what they’re doing. They made it safe, easy and fun. I was up and surfing the first day! They even have a shower for you to rinse off after you surf so you can continue on with your day. You can rent your equipment and store it right there on the beach, too, or just while you grab something to eat. Even had lockers to keep my stuff in while I surfed. Awesome location and great surf shop! Good people all around. Highly recommend!!

  My son took a solo surf lesson on Saturday and he is obsessed! We traveled from Oregon and now he is on the hunt for surfing spots on the Oregon Coast to continue his learning!!

  My name is Alex I’ve been here for 2 years best vibes. . Every coach is nice. Camp is amazing! There is a pizza party at the end of camp very nice! The instructors from 2025 were Eric, uni, and nick. The 2026 instructors were just uni and nick. Best instructors ever they were very observant
