  I just finished the two week surf camp here and it was amazing. The surf instructors Chris and Keagan made it such a memorable experience that I'll be coming back again next year! The food was great with the option to buy off their restaurant menu. The accomodation is awesome with a huge recommendation to get the private villas for your own luxury stay. The people make the trip fun with such a welcoming vibe. The surf camp provides a real opportunity to relax and improve at your surfing skills. You really get out of it what you put in, so if you're interested in relaxing and drinking beers or if you want to shred on waves - awesome, and want to do both? - double awesome. There is a really cool sunset walk uphill about 15minutes from the surf camp with this pics provided.

  I spent one week at this surf camp, and I had an amazing time. I learned so much about surfing, and the instructors were fantastic. They created a fun atmosphere while still giving professional coaching that really helped me improve. The food and drink service was also excellent. Everything was fresh, delicious, and served quickly, and the staff were always friendly and helpful. The only aspect I was disappointed with was the accommodation. The room where I stayed with my girlfriend is in need of renovation. For this price category, it did not meet our expectations. The bathroom is old and unattractive, the shower is in poor condition, and the water pressure is very weak. There was also no hot water. Overall, the accommodation felt more like a low-budget hostel than a premium surf camp. In my opinion, it is overpriced for what you get. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend this surf camp to anyone who wants to improve their surfing. If the accommodation were upgraded, it would easily deserve five stars.

  I just finished my second two week camp at Surf Camp Lombok and can’t recommend it highly enough. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their friendliness, professionalism, and genuine hospitality. The food was fantastic throughout my stay, with all meals provided. The variety is decent and the food is fresh and healthy which is a necessity when surfing twice every day. The restaurant also has a menu for any extra meals, drinks or snacks you might want (at an additional cost). Whether you’re coming to Surf Camp Lombok for the surfing, the atmosphere, or just to relax, everything is well organised and all your surfing and living needs are catered for. The private villas are great and provide a king bed with private outdoor shower and toilet and also a good view of Gerupuk bay. A special mention to Chris and Keagan, the lead surf instructors. Their knowledge, patience, and enthusiasm made a huge difference to my experience. They provide excellent coaching through video reviews from drone footage, helping to pinpoint errors made in the water and advice on how to improve, and also lessons on a range of surf-related topics, helping us develop skills, knowledge, and confidence both in and out of the water. Beyond their coaching, Chris and Keagan do an outstanding job of managing the camp, especially the relationships between guests and staff. Everything runs smoothly, the atmosphere is welcoming and supportive, and their attention to detail ensures guests have a fantastic experience from start to finish. They truly are the glue that holds the camp together and I can’t imagine two better guys to run the place. Overall, Surf Camp Lombok delivers an outstanding surf camp experience. Great people, food, surfing and instruction. I happily returned for my second camp and am already looking to come back for my third. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an unforgettable surf trip in Lombok.

  If you are serious about progressing your surfing, you should come to this camp. This is a true surf school. The instruction was fantastic between video reviews, in water guidance, and lectures on surf theory and ocean resilience. The program is structured around two week stays so I wouldn’t recommend coming for just a week as you’ll miss out on some of the foundational lectures. TLDR is they know what they are doing here. This is a super established and well run camp. I found the program incredibly effective and had tons of fun. I liked that we surfed twice a day rather than just once like most surf schools. Being located right in the bay is a huge advantage. No car needed, just hop on the boat and go. I learned a lot that I’ll take with me through my surfing journey. The spots can be crowded, but the conditions so optimal for learning that it makes up for it. The boys always kept us safe in the water and honestly ran the lineup and enforced the rules in the chaos. The food is also excellent and the servers are super friendly. Chris’ video reviews were phenomenal. Both Chris and Keagan were always willing to go out of their way to give individual attention and feedback. All you had to do was ask and they’d immediately take you to the yoga shala to guide you through surf exercises tailored to the things you need to work on. Most importantly, shoutout to Adi, Azam, and Madel for being some of the best surf coaches I’ve ever had! One note is that the owners children are present at camp. This wasn’t an issue for me but I think it could bother some who want an adults only vacation. Also the dorm showers had hot water heaters but I don’t think they worked. If you can afford to stay in the bungalows go for it, they are super nice!
