A nonprofit surf club based at Windansea Beach in La Jolla, first formed in 1947 and reformed by Chuck Hasley in 1963 to field a team for the Malibu Invitational. Early members included Mike Hynson, Butch Van Artsdalen, and Skip Frye. The club promotes surfing goodwill and fields teams in coalition surf contests.
